Please join us to celebrate the Caring for MI Future Initiative.

While the work of child care change is far from over, we're recognizing the momentous efforts and results from the Caring for MI Future Initiative. We set out to open 1,000 new or expanded child care programs by the end of Fiscal Year 2024, and together, we have increased our capacity by over 36,783 spaces since the launch of the initiative! In doing so, we have elevated what’s working to strengthen our child care system in Michigan and built the enduring and diverse community we need to sustain our momentum.

We’re bringing the Caring for MI Future community together for a one-day event to share stories, continue building relationships, and talk about ongoing and future efforts to propel our work forward—for children, early educators, and families.
